What to See & Do in Dallas

Dallas never has a shortage of things to see and do.  A myriad of attractions and activities await you.  Thrill seekers will shriek with excitement at the region's theme and amusement parks one larger than the size of Disneyland.  For those of you who prefer a more relaxed atmosphere, take a walk through nature in one of many state parks or cultural centers.  Below we have provided some information about some of these attractions and activities in the Dallas area!

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor - A 47-acre tropical hideaway filled with one of the nation's largest collections of water rides.  Features five areas of attractions including, "The Black Hole," the #1 rated water park attraction in the world.  (817) 265-3356

Attractions & Activities
The Dallas Aquarium at Fair Park - Electric eels, moon jellyfish and a giant alligator snapping turtle are just a few of the 5,000 aquatic animals featured. The Amazon Flooded Forest exhibit showcases fish of the Amazon River and the "World of Diversity" exhibit features 28 displays of unusual and bizarre adaptations of salt-water and fresh-water species. Dallas World Aquarium - Features, 80,000 gallons of salt-water exhibits including sharks, stingrays, and hundreds of reef fish all in living coral reef ecosystems.  (214) 720-2224
Dallas Zoo - The world-class, 95-acre Zoo features the ExxonMobil Endangered Tiger Habitat with rare Sumatran and Indochinese tigers; the Kimberly-Clark Chimpanzee Forest; and the 25-acre Wilds of Africa, named the best African exhibit in the country.
