When visiting Dallas, there are several modes of transportation you can use to get around the sprawling metropolis. From bus to taxi to rail, there are transportation options for every budget and destination.

Dallas Area Rapid Transit is the bus system that serves the city of Dallas. Strategically positioned throughout the city, DART has numerous stops and destinations. For a low fare, DART will take you where you need to go.

DART light rail is the rail system that serves the Dallas area. With stops at the zoo and shopping centers, the light rail system is economical and environmentally conscious. DART light rail is an affordable and expedient transportation choice.

If mass transit is not your first choice to meet your transportation needs, consider taking a taxi service. With many reputable taxi companies in Dallas, getting around town is easier than ever. Taking a taxi is the most expensive method of transportation of Dallas. Given the vast urban sprawl of the Dallas area, the fares of a taxi will quickly accumulate.

Whether you are environmentally conscious, on a tight budget or prefer travelling alone, Dallas offers many different types of transportation to its visitors. Finding the one that suits your needs and preferences will make your stay in Dallas all the more enjoyable.

Cowboys Stadium is the most talked about stadium in all of sports worldwide. Owner Jerry Jones loves to spend money because he always wants the best of the best. This goes for players, coaches and stadiums.

Cowboys Stadium was completed in May of 2009. Only a few months later, it was home to the largest crowd it has received to date, which was 105,121. This was a regular season game against the New York Giants. Many people came to see the game, but others just wanted to see the gargantuan high-definition screen that spans from one 20-yard-line to the other 20-yard-line. Cowboys Stadium was a $1.3 billion project and it shows. The stadium can fit 80,000 people in seats and up to 120,000 when you add standing room. This is by far the largest stadium in the NFL.

While everyone raves about Cowboys Stadium, there was one big disappointment associated with it. In 2010, the Cowboys had a very strong roster and Cowboys Stadium was going to be the home for the Super Bowl. Many people thought they could be the first team to play a home game for the Super Bowl. Instead, they fell flat on their faces.

Cowboys Stadium is also home to many other events, including boxing matches, soccer games, motorcross and soccer.
